Getting Started

Download and install the Webb Computer Shield from the Microsoft Store.
Run the application with administrator privileges to enable all features.
Click the Run Network Security tool button to do an initial deep scan.
After your first deep scan enable "System Hardening" to secure your operating system.

How to Use

1. Network Security Tool

Click the "Run Network Security Tool" button to scan your network. Suspicious IP addresses or activity will be logged, and you can choose to block malicious IPs.

2. Whitelist and Blacklist Management

Go to the "Manage IP Whitelist" or "Manage IP Blacklist" menu to add or remove IP addresses. Whitelisted IPs will bypass monitoring, while blacklisted IPs will be blocked automatically.

3. Gamer Mode

Enable Gamer Mode before launching any full-screen applications. This prevents false positives from triggering security alerts while gaming or using interactive programs.

4. System Hardening

Click the "Harden System" button to apply essential security configurations, including firewall rules and service hardening.

5. Monitoring Logs

Use the built-in log viewer to see detailed records of security events, including detected threats, actions taken, and suspicious activity.

Troubleshooting

If the application doesn't start, ensure you are running it as an administrator.
Make sure your firewall and network configurations allow the application to operate fully.
For issues with Gamer Mode, ensure it is enabled before launching any full-screen applications.
